A Chelsea Paint Out

‘A Chelsea Paint Out’ hosted by Green & Stone.

Join us for a day of plein air painting in the heart of Chelsea — come rain or shine! Paint alongside members of A Palette of Artists, capture the charm of the local scenery, and share in the joy of creativity.

Schedule & Key Info:

10:00 AM – Meet at The Gallery at Green & Stone

  • Collect your stamped board (sizes: 30 x 40 cm or 20 x 20 cm)

  • Finalise your painting location

10:30 AM – 4:00 PM – Paint in and around Chelsea
Suggested locations:

  • Cheyne Walk

  • Thames & Albert Bridge

  • King’s Road

  • Battersea Park

  • Sloane Square

4:00 PM – Return to the Gallery

  • Display your day’s work

  • Enjoy a celebratory drink (wine or prosecco)

  • Mingle with fellow artists

  • View the Palette exhibition

 Prizes & Exhibition Opportunity:

  • Prize: One artist will be awarded a £250 Green & Stone voucher. Hester Baldwin of Green & Stone will select the winner. (Redeemable at the Framing Department or Shop – excluding artworks)

  • Exhibition Selection: Hester will also choose a selection of standout works to be exhibited in the Framing Gallery from 18-30 May 2026 (Artists may offer work for sale, with a 40% commission to Green & Stone).
    Wet, unframed work will be stored at the Framing Shop until the exhibition.
    Unsold work must be collected on Monday, 1 June 2026.

 What to Bring:

  • Your own painting materials: easel, brushes, paints, water/medium pots, rags

  • Dress for the weather — this is true plein air painting

  • Travel light and come prepared to paint all day outdoors

Canvas boards will be provided and stamped at the start.


An exclusive 20% discount on art materials is available in-store on the day to all plein air painters.
