Edward Quamina

Edward Quamina is a London-based artist whose work explores movement, memory, and the symbolic relationship between body and place. His practice spans drawing, painting, and mixed media, rooted in a deep engagement with figuration and the expressive mark. Through images that merge mythic resonance with lived experience, Quamina maps an inner landscape, a terrain of emotion, ancestry, and rhythm, where dance, community, and the sacred British landscape converge. His recent works reflect a growing interest in how the physical and spiritual intertwine, tracing gestures that belong as much to memory as to motion.
