'Fundamentals of Figure Drawing' with Oscar Jin

In this workshop, attendants will be introduced to a range of techniques to learn and improve their drawing of the nude figure in dry media..

On the 15th May, the class will provide the foundations of gesture drawing, and introduce methods of tonal drawing, to convey light, form, and dimension, working with longer poses.

On the 22nd May, attendees will work on a singular long-pose drawing, working in a constructive method, and combining the former techniques to achieve a dramatic and life-like impression. In each session, Oscar will demonstrate with a comprehensive explanation of his techniques, and offer one-to-one critique as attendants draw.

All levels are welcome.
