Venetia Higgins × Crees Foundation for Manu
3–9 September 2026
The Framing Gallery at Green & Stone, London SW3
Monday-Sunday, 10am–5pm
Fourteen years after first volunteering with the Crees Foundation, artist Venetia Higgins returned to the Peruvian Amazon to create 123 original miniature paintings celebrating one of the most biodiverse places on Earth.
From jaguars and giant otters to hummingbirds and macaws, each work captures a species found within the Manu Biosphere Reserve. Every miniature is framed in reclaimed timber by Antony James Hughes, with hand-gilded, engraved details about the species.
Every purchase helps protect the rainforest: 50% of proceeds support the Crees Foundation’s conservation work, and each original artwork also includes a biodiversity credit - part of the first biodiversity credit programme developed and sold in Peru.
With generous support from Winsor & Newton and St Cuthbert’s Mill.
