‘A Palette Painting Day’, with Lesley Dabson
At this free event, artist Lesley Dabson will be demonstrating her approach to oil painting!

About Lesley Dabson
Lesley graduated with a BA Hons in Graphics in the 1980's. After taking time to raise her family she returned to paint in oils in 2008.
Lesley enjoys painting both in her west London studio and en plein air. Her favourite subjects include fleeting, intimate moments of city life, often captured on her camera and painted in her studio, and marine subjects, including shoreside scenes along the Thames. Lesley has enjoyed painting with the Wapping Group of artists on several occasions as a guest.
Lesley has exhibited extensively with several prestigious societies including the 2024 RA Summer Exhibition, RBA, ROI, RSMA, SWA. She has been shortlisted for work submitted to Hampstead Art Society Open Exhibitions and longlisted by Jackson's Art Prize 2025. Lesley is an elected member of Chelsea Art Society, the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and a regular member of the Hesketh Hubbard Life Drawing Society.
