Painting a Landmark

This workshop is designed to accompany the Tushar Sabale’s upcoming exhibition ‘London, My Home’.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to see and learn the use of oil colours. Tushar will talk through and demonstrate his process of choosing and composing a complex scene and further simplifying it. You will be painting a familiar London landmark using a reference from start to finish, understanding colours, values and handling of oil colours.

All levels are welcome.

About Tushar Sabale

Tushar Sabale, an Indian-born British artist based in London, specializes in plein air oil painting, merging Impressionism and Realism with Luminist elements. As a full-time artist and member of prestigious groups like The Wapping Group and The British Plein Air Painters, he co-founded The London Plein Air Group. Notable appearances include Landscape Artist of the Year 2023. Recognized with numerous awards, including the Green & Stone and Cadogan Awards, he exhibits regularly at Mall Galleries for the Federation of British Artists and other esteemed venues.
