Young Sculptors: Relief Workshop
Join award-winning sculptor Asya Dudko for a creative paperclay sculpting workshop designed especially for young artists aged 7 and above.
This hands-on session offers a unique opportunity for children to explore the art of relief sculpture in a friendly, supportive, and inspiring environment. Whether they're discovering sculpture for the first time or already love making art, participants will enjoy creating their own textured relief artwork to take home.
Working with professional air-drying Creative Paperclay, participants will learn how to build up layers to create a striking relief sculpture. Guided step by step by Asya, they'll explore techniques including shaping, texturing, and refining their work. Examples created by the artist will be available throughout the workshop to inspire ideas and demonstrate different creative approaches.
As the clay needs time to dry naturally, each participant will receive a small paint set and brush to take home, allowing them to add colour and complete their relief once it has fully dried.
Throughout the workshop, participants will sculpt their design in clay, refine it using specialist tools, and experiment with a variety of texturing techniques to enhance detail and depth.
Suitable for all abilities. Ages 7+.
All art materials are provided by Green & Stone.
Asya Dudko
