Sophie Cole, is a contemporary, self-taught artist inspired by both nature and the beauty of every day objects and the constantly evolving forms found within them. From animals to the human figure, landscapes to nature, Sophie offers a wide variety of natural and man made subjects to depict in her work. Exploring her subjects using predominantly inks, charcoal, watercolour, and pencil, Sophie achieves an end that is a visual and emotional response to her subject, underpinned by a strong drawing practice.
