VOL.1 Still Life
Join artist and Royal Drawing School tutor Minna Williams for the first session of our Experimental Drawing Club: Summer Exhibition Edition.
Inspired by the artworks on display in the Green & Stone Summer Exhibition, this relaxed evening workshop invites participants to explore still life drawing in a fresh and imaginative way. Working amongst the exhibition, you'll draw from carefully curated still life arrangements influenced by the colours, compositions, and themes of the exhibiting artists.
Minna will guide you through a series of observational and expressive drawing exercises, encouraging experimentation with mark-making, composition, and different drawing materials. Whether you're completely new to drawing or looking to develop your practice, the workshop offers a welcoming and supportive environment to build confidence and discover new approaches.
All drawing materials are provided, along with a complimentary drink, making it the perfect creative evening to unwind after work while drawing in the inspiring surroundings of the Green & Stone Gallery.

Minna Williams
Minna Williams is an artist and tutor whose practice centres on observational drawing, portraiture, and expressive mark-making. She teaches at the Royal Drawing School and has led workshops for both Kingston University and the Royal Drawing School's Young Artists Programme. Minna's approach encourages participants to move beyond traditional observational drawing, exploring imaginative responses to people, objects, and the spaces around them in a supportive and engaging environment.
